Volunteer Coffee

.Please join us for the annual volunteer coffee on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at 9:00 in the HMS Media Center.  This is a Great time to meet the PTSA officers, committee chairs, principal, and other volunteers.  Learn where the copier is located, how to find PTSA supplies, and how to properly sign-in at school.  Coffee and pastries will be served.  We are looking forward to a fun-filled year at HMS, and need YOU to make things happen.

Leaving Henderson?

If you have student who will not be returning to Henderson (excluding 8th graders headed to Lakeside), please be sure to stop by HMS and withdraw your student on the last day of school.  The school cannot send student records to another school if the withdrawal process has not been completed.  This will also allow the school to more accurately project enrollment and complete a master schedule for the fall.

HMS Weekly Update - Sign Up or Unsubscribe

We hope that you find the HMS Weekly Update to be informative, and we encourage you to share sign up information with families within the HMS feeder pattern.  If you know families with rising 5th or 6th grade students from Briarlake, Evansdale, Hawthorne, Henderson Mill, Oak Grove, Pleasantdale, or Sagamore, please forward this email to them and encourage them to sign up for our weekly updates using the Join Our Mailing List button in the green column to the side of this update.  That way, Sneak Peek information will get to the incoming 6th grade families over the summer and they, along with rising 5th grade families, will get a "flavor" all year long of what's going on at Henderson.

If your family is leaving Henderson and you no longer wish to receive the Weekly Update, please click on the SafeUnsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.

LHS Weekly Update

Lakeside High School sends out weekly updates and special announcements by email, very similar to the Henderson weekly email in terms of content covered.  If you would like to receive the LHS weekly updates and have not signed up to do so already, please visit this link,
http://www.thezonelive.com/zone/public/6/schoolHome.asp?i=887
and enter your email address.  Be sure to create a profile and enter in your student's class year (2015) so that you will also receive class-specific news.  Even if you are already receiving the LHS emails, you should check your profile to be sure you are on the correct lists to receive the class-specific information. Doing this now will ensure that you receive all of the updates with Lakeside news over the summer break.

Please note:  the profile content for Class of 2015 email recipients has recently posted.  When you receive the next LHS update, please scroll to the bottom of it and select the Update Profile/Email Address link at the bottom of the page.  If you are unsure if you provided the information, please follow the same procedure above to double check.  You won't want to miss out on class-specific info at Lakeside!
