Fernbank Museum of Natural History
The modern Fernbank Museum of Natural History houses "a world of dinosaurs, artifacts, science interactives, shells, wildlife", an Imax theater, and more. "Fernbank's unique permanent exhibitons include Giants of the Mesozoic, featuring the world's largest dinosaurs, and A Walk Through Time in Georgia, which tells the two-fold story of Georgia's natural history and the development of our plantet." Besides the permanent exhibits, the museum hosts special exhibitions and programs throughout the year providing unique programs about the earth's history, the physical universe, the environment and human culture.
