Do you have a rising 9th grader who will be attending THS next year? Have your child join THS July 30th – August 1st 8:00AM to Noon for our summer bridge transition program. The cost is $30.00 and the deadline for registration and payment is June 27th. Please contact Katie Klinker at THS for more information.

MISSION STATEMENT
The Mission of Tucker Middle School is to develop independent thinkers who are conscientious, compassionate, and embrace the diversity of the world around them. The challenging and rigorous educational program compels students to read with comprehension, write with clarity, and use information to solve problems.
COMMUNITY AND SERVICE
- APRIL 30, 2012 IS THE LAST DAY TO TURN IN FORMS TO RECEIVE COMMUNITY AND SERVICE HOURS!
- Box Tops for Education - 20 box tops earns 1 hour
- October Harvest Food Drive - We collected over 459 lbs of food for Feed The Need food pantry!
- December - We collected over 200 toys for Toys for Tots!!!
- January - We raised $1265.50 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital!!!
- February - The response for printer cartridges and cell phones was terrific. You can continue to turn those items in and receive credit.
- Hoops for Hearts to support the American Heart Association - We raised $1090 to support the American Heart Association.
- April Community and Service is PAWS Atlanta - please donate. collars, small pet beds, 0-20 lbs cat litter, Dawn dish soap and Bounty 6 pack paper towels = 1 hour; medium pet bed,20+lbs cat litter and Ruffies or Brut trash bags = 2 hours; large pet bed = 3 hours. All donations due by April 30 - community and service form must be completed that day to receive credit for hours.
