Mission Statement
The mission of the Premier DeKalb Truancy School is to accommodate the varied needs of students who do not attend school in a traditional environment.
Wherein, stakeholders will collaborate to promote and foster educational programs that include academics, counseling and social support so that students will return to their traditional school setting better equipped to continue academic progress and make sound decisions.
Vision Statement
The vision of the Premier DeKalb Truancy School is to become a model,
world-class, alternative school for truant students that are in need of an opportunity to develop their academic and social welfare.
DTS emphasizes the integration of technology, personal responsibility, high academic standards, and responsible citizenship, thus empowering all students to compete in a global society.
