| Toney Elementary School is located in South DeKalb County, just off Candler Road, and has offered an excellent education to the neighborhood children for over fifty years. Our staff works diligently to ensure that our students continue to progress academically. Toney’s staff is in constant pursuit of excellence, and we strive to provide the best educational experience for our students. Toney works to support the community by offering after school and Saturday tutorials for our students and learning opportunities for our parents. Our motto is “You can’t hide that tiger pride.” |

| Toney participates in many academic competitions including the Social Science Fair, the Scripts Spelling Bee, the Helen Ruffin Reading bowl, and the Black History Bowl. |
