Ashford Park School was established in 1955.. Ashford Park is a small community school nestled in the heart of exciting, in-town Brookhaven. Our diverse student population is a true “melting pot” consisting of students from over 19 countries. The dynamic staff at APS works diligently to meet the needs of this unique student body. School and community work together to provide a positive environment to assist our students in achieving academic success.
Ashford Park Elementary School continues to show academic success by meeting and exceeding the State Of Georgia’s Annual Yearly Progress (AYP) expectations. Ashford Park Elementary School has met Annual Yearly Progress goals for four years which gives us the status of "Distinguished School” We have also received the Gold Award from the Department of Education. Our continued progress in achievement is the result of direct and focused instruction.
The tremendous support offered by the community has greatly impacted Ashford Park School. Our PTA does an excellent job of supporting our students and teachers in many ways. PTA sponsors the Scholastic Book Fair, Fall Festival, Red Ribbon Week, and Career Day.
