The Design & Construction Department establishes the education and construction specifications for school buildings, selects the architects and contractors, approves all school designs, reviews documents for completeness and correctness, and is involved in every aspect of a school’s construction.
Design & Construction is also responsible for oversight of projects related to the ongoing operation of schools. These projects can include classroom additions, roof repair or replacement and HVAC replacement and repairs.
The Design & Construction staff includes a cross-section of architects, maintenance personnel and construction experts.
