DeKalb County Public Library Youth Services staff, DeKalb County School System and the City Schools of Decatur’s teacher-librarians are encouraging children and teens to read over the summer by participating in the Vacation Reading Program. Because public libraries and school media centers share the same goal of fostering the love of books and reading, the Vacation Reading Program is a continuum of the reading efforts of teacher-librarians and teachers. |
