WHAT ARE EARLY COLLEGE ACADEMIES?
They are small high schools which have formed a joint venture with a local college under the auspices of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to enable students who may not be successful in a traditional school setting to complete their high school diploma, and optionally, an associate degree or two years of college credit within four years.
