Parent volunteers (15 hours plus 1 hour for PTSA membership) must be completed by April 19, 2013. Failure to complete hours will result in your child being withdrawn effective May 24, 2013 and he/she will have to enroll in his/her neighborhood school. 1) The Champion School named a 2012 high performing middle school. Ranking first on the CRCT out of 22 DCSD middle schools. 2) The Champion School ranked 100 out of 476 middle schools in the state of Georgia in spring 2012.

Every first Monday is business attire (formerly known as Assembly Attire). The last Friday of every month except, December, April, and May are spirit wear days. Please check the uniform contract to see what is required (Girls: White Oxford Shirt/Blouse, Cross-tie, Plaid Skirt (preferred)or grey skirt, socks, and solid black shoes. Boys: White Oxford Shirt, school tie, grey slacks, solid black belt, and solid black shoes. Blazer and cardigan with crest optional due to the August heat.)
Safety First:All parents are reminded that students may not be on campus before 7:30 AM or after 4:30 PM (if they are not participating in a sport or club/organization). Please be advised that once students leave campus (walkers)they are not to return, including if they have been informed by their parents to walk to the public library. Please be reminded that the DCSD shuttle buses and Champion afterschool program are available for students. Contact Coach S. Jones, Director of the After School Program.
