CGMS is an indigenous, environmental, urban theme school located in south DeKalb County. We are one of the few middle schools in the state teaching an environmental connection class. Also, we are fortunate to have an old granite quarry on our campus, which serves as an outdoor amphitheater classroom. CGMS is successfully implementing the America’s Choice Program, a standards-based program that helps students to learn to their maximum potential. Our efforts are a testimony to our commitment for helping all students become life-long learners.
