| Parents in DeKalb County have the opportunity to make choices regarding their children’s public school education. There are a number of programs in the DeKalb County School System which offer students the opportunity to go to a school other than their “home” school, that is, the school which serves their home address. |
| Because there are several programs, there is usually some confusion about the programs and how students can participate in them. The guide of Choice Programs in DeKalb County, to the right, gives a concise outline of each of the programs, and complete information on all these programs is available on the DeKalb School System web site. |
School Choice Program Brochures will be mailed to families with students currently attending a school in the DeKalb County School System.
Private and home-school families may receive a brochure from their attendance area school or from the DeKalb County School System website. |
